This sensor, mounted on the engine cylinder, controls the on/off operation of the hot light
If yours is damaged or bad this can cause false hot lights
If you cannot figure out why your hot light keeps coming on, replace this switch, it may be the problem
This switch is a heavy duty, Made in the USA replacement for the expensive stock switch
On/Off settings are exactly the same as stock
